Michal Alon, an Israeli  ceramics artist who lives and works in Hadar-Am, a village in Israel, among citrus orchards near the Mediterranean.  
Her clay work is inspired by her surroundings. Local landscape and rugged rock formations, marked by rain, sun and wind become images and designs for forms and surfaces.
Archeological influences combined with traditional shapes and forms are incorporated in her ceramic work, which is mainly wheel thrown.
